Aloha Krishna,
Yes, it is about 30-45 mins to get to that spot that you want to photograph. I would not rate it that difficult; but that is subjective. From the summit, you have to make your way up an eroded hill, but there are ropes and then some parts of the trail are narrow and eroded, and you are hiking next to the edge of a mountain, so if you are not comfortable with that, you may have a hard time. If in doubt, just turn around if it gets too difficult for you. Hope that helps.

Hi! I have a question - I want to hike from the Kuliouou ridge and then part of the Puuokona hike. I am a photographer, and want to get a shot at the lookout area (your 5th to last image). I saw in another blog that it is only 30-45 mins away from that spot to the Kuliouou lookout point. I am not an experienced hiker - how difficult would you say that part of the hike is? We would go from Kuliouou to that part of Puu'o'kona and back. Thanks.
